Hi! I'm Austin 👋. I'm a software engineer currently working at Microsoft on the Azure cloud platform. During my time at Microsoft I've worked on two Azure products. The first was Azure Cache for Redis, a fully managed service for running Redis in the cloud. The second, and my current project, is Azure App Configuration, a service for managing application settings and feature flags in the cloud.

Prior to Microsoft, I led software development for a medical study in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. This study evaluated a pioneering telemedicine software system, built by our team, that allows patients to collect health data at home through Bluetooth-enabled medical devices.

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor's in Economics and Computer Science and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
